The easiest moist apple and walnut cake to impress all of your friends and family. One bowl is all you need to make this mouthwatering cake, or make it into muffins for your weekly lunches!

APPLE TEA CAKE

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 apples, cored and roughly chopped, skin on.
  • ¾ cup Nuvia Baking
  • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp bi carb soda
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp all spice
  • 1 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
  • 125g butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • Icing sugar to dust

METHOD

  • 1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl with a wooden spoon.
  • 2. Then pour mixture into a bundt tin. Cook for 45-50 minutes.
  • 3. Allow to cool completely then dust with icing sugar.
 

TIPS AND TWEAKS

It is also perfect to make into muffins, just reduce cook time to 20-30 minutes, depending on size.
